Leslie Wright, FWA President Recipient of 2025 Industry Career Achievement Award from CMEE

At the awards ceremony on August 12, 2025, at The Canadian Meetings + Events Expo (CMEE) in Toronto, Ontario, Leslie Wright, President of Fletcher Wright Associates Inc. (FWA), was honoured with the Industry Career Achievement Award.

The Industry Career Achievement Award is presented in years when CMEE and the Hall of Fame committee unanimously determine there is an exemplary candidate. The recipient of this honor is selected by industry peers on our awards committee and celebrates an individual that has had a career as a planner or supplier in the events and meetings industry, having built a legacy with the work and volunteerism they have contributed to the industry throughout their career.

FWA Vice President Nikki Wright stated, “We are extremely proud of the recognition received by Leslie. On a daily basis, I witness Leslie’s dedication to supporting others through her unwavering guidance and encouragement.”

Additionally, Leslie was previously awarded the CMEE Industry Veteran Award in 2016.
